The Job:

The primary responsibility of the Operations Intern is to support the central Electronic Theatre team in day-to-day activities, and take on discrete special projects of your own. You will be balancing lots of discrete tasks like sourcing equipment, negotiating with suppliers, researching industry trends and identifying sites for our concept.

You will bring energy and enthusiasm to the team, helping the Founders, Executives and team with disparate projects and maintaining order in a dynamic environment.

The Work:

  • Organize office processes so bills are paid on time, paperwork is filed correctly and everyone knows where to find the tools they need
  • Assist with hosting guests and contractors from builders to venture capital partners
  • Liaise with real estate agents to identify and review potential locations for Electronic Theatre units
  • Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Manage company social media accounts
  • Organize team fun events (and drive participation!)
  • Other special projects that crop up from time to time

  • Love getting a bargain or negotiating a discount
  • Are known socially as an organizer - you are the one of your friends who arranges group holidays, birthday get-togethers and trips

The Experience:

  • You might be currently pursuing or have recently finished a degree from a good university. You may have finished Uni some time ago, and are looking for a change in career
  • Customer Service or retail experience a plus
  • Proven organizational and leadership experience through work, university or elsewhere (charity, clubs etc.)
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication
